(Money pit Beretta @ Jan. 09 2008,21:33)QUOTEThanks for thinking of the few of us with older V6 engines! What are the specs on the cat back systems? Hate to ask, but will you have one for a 90GT(the gas tank is not the same as the others)? Will you have a full exhaust system, like a bolt on?
yes i will have a cat back system for a 90gt
I havn't decide on weather i want to run 2.25 or 2.5 mandrel bend
2.25 mandrel bend will flow as good as a 2.5 crush bent.
I think i'm just going to go with 2.5 though.

And yes it will be bolt on. I'm actually going to napa here in warren. I know the owner really well. buying the full cat back system moking it up and then hes taking the stock system back. easier that way and i dont need anyones car.

I have alot of project going on. build the 3x00 headers this coming weekend. also have a buddy at a tube bending shop that going to bend the piping for cheap to keep cost down. also looking into coating for them.

once my ta is back together and running good i'm starting on the headers for the quad 4.

I have a 93 ta in here getting a 383 put in, cbc 4l60 stage 3 tranny with a yank 3400 stall and moser 12 bolt 3.73 gears.

we also have are shop drag cars that are coming along slowly

90rs camaro with a 355 on a big shot.
and of course the 3.8sc beretta
trying to hit low 10s with both

so yes i have alot of projects.

not to mention the new shop being built with more goodies than i've ever dreamed about. I have about all my buisness people lined up with piping to coating, to plastic moldings, tranny man, electrical. list goes on, alot of resources. everything is going good.

Just give some info on what the shop will have.

Engine DYNO mite Dynamometer will hold up to 1200+hp

will be ordering two extra docking stations so i can have engine ready to dock if needed they are only a couple hundred so why not. comes with all the software to hook up and will beable to tune on it once i buy the programs. the room will be 15x 20 with benches all around with there own stations heads, valvetrain, ect. this will help in r&d work and make thing go smoother. will have a nice 3x6 shatter prof glass to look through if you want to watch your engine on the dyno with a 32in tv screen to see your numbers. this will be really sweet.

DYNOmiteâ„¢ Chassis Dynamometer
we are not set on witch one we want yet, they have one that is modile and can be satinary and hold 1200+hp. this would be nice becuase i could take it to car shows and have dyno runs. be awsome to have a dyno shoot out and give a trophy out to the winner at bfest

2 two post lifts 10,000lbs
1 4 post if i can find a used one for a good price, if not it will wait.
exhuast bender also if i can find one for a good price, not worried about it since custom pipe is giving me a heck of a deal.

monster air compressor i'm pretty set on this one
Ranger R7580H-601 Air Compressor

press, not sure what i want yet

MultiMaster 260 w/12 ft. GM-250 "NAS" Torch
very nice tig and plasma cutter at a good price
parts washer
sand blaster
6k in tools
pretty much anything you ever wanted its in this shop
about the only thing on hold is the body shop, the paint booth is to expensive right now.
all in a  heated 40x64 poll barn

depending on witch muffler/ tip i run will really decide the price. I'm hoping to use a couple diff mufflers so people have more options

You should sell cat to muffler pipes so people can choose their own muffler and tip.  Mantapart charges $115 for the part but you never know when you will get it.

Yeah I'd just make the pipe go back long enough so you can do whatever muffler you want and tip. I like to do my mufflers far back and run a pipe to the tip so you don't see them. But if you do not offer that then consider the dynomax Ultraflo as it's a nice sound and flows awesome, and then perhaps the hooker aerochamber for a chambered sound but it's still straight through for performance.
