So when using spacers these should fit...? I guess 16" is the smallest rim you can run with these brake setup?

Wilwood quotes that these can fit under certain 15" rims actually. They also said that the offset is affected slightly with this kit so you're only concern clearance-wise is the caliper hitting the wheel spokes. I'm sure a small spacer can adjust for that discrepancy if needed. I don't have my kit yet so I can't exactly get too specific with fitment. I have my old 15x7's with 35mm offset in the garage that I'm going to try to put on just to see if it fits for the hell of it.

3.8lb drop using the bearing and all.

The outer CV is 5lbs but he didn't weigh the stock one, I'm sure its right around the same if only a little lighter due to the shaft being a tiny bit smaller.

If my parts car weren't under 5' of snow, I'd be pulling all this stuff out ASAP. I'll probably stick with the torsion beam rear setup, but a set of spacer/adapters in the rear will fill out those wheelwells better anyway.

It just sucks that it's gonna be 2 more months before i'll even see the ground again.

Sounds interesting. I wonder how wide the GTZ/GT(if they would fit) rims would stick out of the fender when using these brakes with the right spacers to clear the caliper...
Too bad i use the crosslaces in winter on my Beretta... i like the look of them but seems like to be not that easy to get some decent brakes under the 15's. So the calipers are 4pistons right? Is there a kit available with 2piston calipers too?
Anyways, I cant wait to see them installed on your car!

They most certainly are 4 piston Michi and as far as I know, the kit for the cavalier only comes with the 4 piston caliper. I can keep you posted with the fitments when I get there. As you probably read, I'm going to do a test fit with the 15" rim to see if it clears the caliper once I get the brakes.

Just found out today that my Beretta is now on Google street view. Good job Beretta, sitting there and doing nothing...this will probably be the highlight of its life.

Finally got the wilwoods today. Now I'm waiting on the brake lines and the 10mm hubcentric spacer i ordered with the required studs. I'm pretty excited.



And I managed to find a 30mm front sway bar from a 96 Z26 to cram in my car. not bad for 20 bucks.

^^So I weighed the rotor in its entirity and it came out to be 10.9lbs on my scale give or take 0.1 lbs due to calibration error. so yeah, they are pretty light.

Yeah it totally would! This season I'll be participating more on track days and smaller club racing events than the official SCCA season. I'm going lower key, I'm sure i'll go to some of their AutoX events but it'll just a race against myself as I will not be with my peers lol

Cool cool, I think the brakes will be worth it though cuz it's amazing how much longer you can push your car when you can hit the brakes and actually stop in less than 400ft.

Did you get the proper brake lines yet? Refer to my thread Rear Disc Brake swap for GM Bubble flare to -3an adapters and then you can do a -3an to whatever banjo bolt size that caliper uses, if it is even a banjo bolt.
