Map Pocket Repair 87-90
I repaired my map pockets using annealed 1100 aluminum formed into channels, binder posts, and then painted to match.
Should be much more reliable in the long run.
This is something the engineers should have come up with (only better) when they designed these crappy things!

So in non engineer terms.... you used aluminum sheet and what?I repaired my map pockets using annealed 1100 aluminum formed into channels, binder posts, and then painted to match.
I want to copy your repair... can you tell me where you got materials etc. Thanks!!
