Selling my Z26-floor board didnt pass state inspection
Re: Selling my Z26-floor board didnt pass state inspection
Depends on how far the rust has gone, if the underside is that bad there is a good chance it will have a hard time selling unless someone really wants the car to part. Photos help a lot with rust.Julie96Z26 wrote:8/28/2017 $1,000 cash/trade takes it ,that should take care of needed repairs .I prefer it repaired - NOT parted out > The underside is bad/rusty <
.it had the typical water leak that thrashed the floor board on the passenger side
.pinch lip so-so .It will go into the barn before the demo-derby , julie96Z26.
1996 the last year of the Beretta?
If I was to consider it, I would for sure part it for myself because the parts would be worth more to me than the car.
Personally I have only seen 1 other member do a full restoration so far on these cars.

I'll give you 500.00 for it and no it will not be parted out but restored. I am in Ohio, about 15 miles west of Wheeling. Please PM me.

Anything can be fixed, depends on motivation, resources, funding, etc.daguse5853z wrote:Sounds like the unibody is toast.
Photos would really help his car sell. Even photos of the rusty parts.

That isn’t terrible. Looks like the bottom parts rotted on the side rails.
The car may have some life left for someone in another state.
I had an 88 in Ohio years ago that was rotted worse than that to where it was sagging in the middle enough to notice the doors were 0.5-1.0 cm off. Haha
