mystery wire ?
I am trying to locate where a unpluged wire goes .
On a 1988 beretta 2.8 I found a wire ( pair )one black and one black with a red stripe. One end is hooked to stud with pos 12 volts on the fire wall center by all the relays. the black wire is grounded to the wiper motor
The pair about 3.5 feet long went down toward transmission and the crank pos sensor . But was not connected to any thing It has a two prong weather pac connector on the end .

mystery wire ?
just a guess, but the only thing i can think of there would be the wire for the under-hood light.

Thanks Cliff and Jeff. I never would have thought of that
the wire length is just right for that . I did think of running the wires away from the motor.
