do i have to take the bell housing off to change the internal slave cylinder or is there anything special i have to do.i have a 1995, 2.2 liter engine,5 speed tranny.thanks

You have to remove the transmission to change the internal slave cylinder... it goes around the input shaft of the trans, which goes through your pressure plate/clutch disk and into your crank.

hi is there any way to check the slave cylinder for a leak without removing the transmission.thanks

There would be clutch fluid dripping from the transmission.
