You need to have the picture online (photobucket, image shack, etc).
Once you have it uploaded, the place you store your photos online show you a URL for posting it (photobucket makes it easy, and gives you 4 different ways to provide links to the images).
Either way, once you get the URL, type the following code in the post:
[ img ] http://www.thisistheurlforyourpicture.jpg [ / img ]
Remove the spaces in the whole line of text, and your picture will post.
