How many miles are on that thing?
Unless you are considering a rebuild at the same time (not worth it on a 2.
you may want to re-think this little project.
Get Jene to put a 3400 in it and then get creative.

we might have a spare good 3100 laying around if you want to use that... but you will be running about the same times you are now.
maybe rebuild a 3.1 and find the 3.1 turbo set up.. or do a 3400 swap... there is a 3400 in town for 600 bucks.
You would have to discuss with scott about the helping part... should still be pretty simple though... we already have one swap lined up for this summer..

I was thinking of doing the turbo to the GT as the motor in it is a rebuilt 3.1L OUT OF a McClaren TGP. Hell only 2000 miles on a tight motor, would be straight up bolt on. Wonder how much work it would be. Prob have to reprogram the ecu chip anyhow as well.

(Carson21R @ Apr. 01 2008,12:19)QUOTEOr just get a TGP chip
Pretty much what I meant. I'm thinking actually though I'll have Nbodyracer over at Q4F burn me a custom chip.

I don't think the TGP crossover is a bolt up to the 87-91 cars... the transmission mount is in the way. 92-93 cars should be fine, but don't quote me on that.
