Removing Antenna

Removing Antenna
It's pretty easy. The base of the antenna is attached by a couple screws behind the fender. The cable goes through a grommet behind the kick panel (behind the ECM in the older ones).

so its just one wire and the antenna holder, sounds easy.

i never listen to the radio stations, and i think the front end would look better without it.

You realize there's going to be a hole in the fender where you take it out, right?
1. unscrew antenna from base
2. remove "nut" with the 4 grooves in it right were the antenna screws on
3. pull off rubber trim/spacer
4. inside fender 2 nuts to pull out the whole assembly
5. remove cord and pull back through into the cabin

There are 2 different antenna cables...there is a short and a longer style. The short have a connector under the dash near the ecu and the long go directly to the radio.

Wasn't there s/one on here that moved their antenna to the rear (I think they were on here) I think that looked good.
