help my z26 keeps stalling and has no power and ex

help me please i have a z26 beretta that wont run right i replaced all 3 coils, plugs and wires and still stalls oout and has no power!!! can someone please help me?oh ya and when im tryin to start it the exAUST smells lik,e fuel and its almost black in color!!!

Couple of things based on your description,though I could use more details if you can. Let's start simple. Check the PCV Valve (plugs into your valve cover). pull it out and visually check it out. Then shake it,if it rattles it's probably functioning ok. Second, pull your plugs and check them. See if they are wet or black. If so, test them individually for spark. You could have a fouled plug. Good burning plugs should be mocha/chocolate in color. If all is well there, check out your plug WIRES to see if any are bare or arcing against any metal. From your description it SOUNDS like you're loading up on fuel and the engine is spitting the excess unburnt fuel out the tail pipe. Flooding would also explain the stall and black smoke. Black exhaust is almost always a fuel issue. GL.

thanks foe the info im a girl and i really need help im luv this car!!!!!!! plugs wirs and 3 coils are all new!!! whaT COULD IT BE? COULD IT BE A BAD MOTOTR??? IT HAS A LOUD TAPPING NOSIE?

Bad o2 ? That or the control module(it's under the coils). The o2 is cheaper and you will need it someday if that's not it. The control module tells the coils when to fire the plugs. If it's not working right the fuel will not get burned and it will go out the exhaust. I know a guy that had a very bad o2 and his car blew out black smoke(had no power and stalled). Do you have black smoke? If not I'd change the control module. Please post when you get it fixed.

I'm in new york, where abouts are you? I think SGR is on the right track, but you need to know why it's happening to really solve the problem. has any work been done on the engine? how many miles are on the car? the V6 engines are prone to piston slap, it's a tapping noise that happens when the car is cold and on high milage cars happens all the time. another problem is lifter noise.
