wet carpet in rear

my carpet behind my driver seat and passenger seats is wet the front floors are dry 1990 please help if anyone has answer

Do you have the roof seal that goes from the door to the back glass? I lost mine and the rain was leaking into the back seat. You can put some kind of sealer under the back glass trim and plug the hole. I used 3M's window weld, but it's not cheap and I was had it for another project.
Wait, do you have a sunroof?

The most common place for leaks is the cowl area under the front windshield. The factory seam sealer gets old and starts cracking. Now water behind the seat could be from water coming in around the trunk tail light area. The best way to find the leaks is to pour mineral water on the car and check inside with a black light.

Check in "Jack Spots".
While I have my interior out I found a spot on front driver side near seat looks like someone tried to jack there or Jack stand it. I spotty welded it shut. The other spot is where the wire harness goes into cabin.

I also have the problem of water leaking onto the floor on the drivers side both front and back. what is the cause and cure???
