steering column issues
hi folks, for those that are not following me on bstuff, I found a low miles rebuilt quad with 086 head ported, polished & bored over.., new clutch & its dropped in the car and running, but a new issue has cropped up with my steering column, but from what i've been told, there is 2 rods in the steering column and one of mine has broke, its one that goes from the lock cylinder (key) & connects into another rod which goes to the ignition starter switch, the part kind of looks like a half moon?? so any leads on replacing one would help thanks!

Re: steering column issues
I think there are three rods(if I remember right). One for "acc", "on" and "start". I broke the "on" one and had to pull the injector fuse to get it to shut off. The good thing was I could still start it.
I took my 90GT to a shop to have it repaired, so I have no other info, sorry. Best of luck on this.
