Well, you all know what I still have left to do. lol

I know, once the carpet is finished the interior will go together really quick! Gotta go get some quick drying adhesive to help pin it down to the floor. 3M Trim adhesive just isn't going to cut it enough for me. Remaining list:

Car:
Finish Carpet install.
Install rest of interior, including all trunk panels, deck panel, seat belts, seats, etc. Detail all of the interior thoroughly. Has to be done.
Remove or tie up alarm system. Time depending.
Install car stereo and subwoofer.
Purchase a fuse holder and a short bit of 6-8 gauge to go from the battery to the end of the wire I ran through the firewall.
If remote MIC arrives in time, install that for the BT Handsfree. (Radio has a mic but a remote will work better)
Install new steering wheel and airbag. Finally.
Go through and work on console, make sure its good to go.
Install the passenger side sun visor.
Pester Styluss to find the driver's side to match it that somehow he missed and sent me two passenger sides instead.
Mount tail light resistors into an aluminum panel and mount that to something in the trunk to disperse heat. NEEDS done.
Clean the spare, check the pressure, make sure all the trunk kit and stuff is installed.
Pack tool bag for emergency needs.
EDIT: Install the rear view mirror back on the windshield!

Once the interior stuff is completed and I get the parts...

Install new front wheel bearings.
Replace all brake drums and rotors.
Install new pads and shoes and rear brake parts.
Clean and lubricate the emergency cable.
Bleed all brakes thoroughly. Adjust emergency brake.
Change oil and top off anything else.
Change air filter.
Rotate tires and clean them very well, checking pressures, etc.
Detail the engine bay.
Polish the fillers, tail lights and headlights.
Clean the car, do a bit of polishing on the paint. (never been done completely yet since the paint job)
Detail the trims and plastics.

Should about do it for the car.

Also finish up all lighting projects for everyone. :D

And try to take care of any customers till I leave. :p

And there is nothing better than drinking "pink stuff" under a canopy in the hotel parking lot at 2AM!
I'll see if I can cram it in there... I am traveling solo now, so I may be able to pull it off.

I'm actually seriously considering making a quick trip to the track on Sunday to get a couple of runs on this thing. (Nice to have a track 35 minutes away!)

Other than that I'm good to go. Just have to load the car.

Leaving Tuesday morning.

(Last I heard, Rodney appears to be planning on bringing his Beretta!!)

If I had a track 35 minutes away I probably would be their nearly every day.

- fix my passenger window
- replace the foam in my driver's seat
- replace the front crank seal
- take care of the rust on my roof

All the detailing will happen at Ryan's after i get there this weekend. I can't wait for this...i'm actually anxious!!!

Son of a bi....now the water pump!!! Better it all going here at home rather than on the road. None of this got done today as i was dealing with some unexpected personal issues.

And Ryan, i was just talking of doing some detailing while i was there, not major projects.. :P
Crank seal...CHECK!!!
Water pump...CHECK!!!
Passenger window...kinda check (needs tint now to match the rest).
Ok...rust on my roof is going to wait for now, and may be done in Denver, but my car is staying in its to-hell-and-back form because my dad, just this afternoon, broke out his auto body tools from storage and has promised that my car is being painted...the right way. So instead of throwing some paint at it to make it all the same color, and the same shiny-ness, i am going to put that new compressor to the test and do this paint the way it should be done.

Unfortunately, it won't be before Bfest. :(

Well, I have knocked a ton off the list today. Actually took the car out around the block so to speak, feel it out see if there was anything else to worry about. Runs fine, feels good. Just need to do bearings, brakes and A/C now. Still have to swap my steering wheel, put in the rear view and one visor, finish and reinstall the arm rest then the interior is DONE (well as done as it will be for bfest anyway).

After re-wiring the sound system and putting in heavier gauge wire for the main feed, sound system is great! Just a few tweaks, and its good to go. Now I have to re-sync my BT phone with the radio. Also install the mic for the speakerphone mode, once it gets here Wed, or Thurs. Talk about cutting it short. heheh

See the project thread for pics and stuff. :P

Now I just need to pack... F-cleaning the car since its going to be a downpour the day I'm leaving... I'll just bring my stuff with me and hit up a powerwash or something.

If I'm not mistaken there is a DIY powerwash close to the hotel... Driving from CT would be a waste to wash it anyway - even clear skies and that thing would be filthy by Chicago...

Yup, pretty much... LOL

It actually wasn't that bad after driving to Charlotte, and that I went through a few good storms... But yeah the futurecast had a HUGE blotch of red over the whole state right around 4PM-5PM when I hope to be leaving... :) JOY

Well I got here last night. Hotel is a little hard to find as the signage SUCKS! But it's a good spot.

Great coin wash almost right next door. And a neat Sports Bar right beside that.

Car ran GREAT! 24 mpg LOL!

Rain all day today but suppose to be nice Thurs and Fri.

Weekend looks like it might be OK.

I'm heading up to the track tonight to meet the fellow I contacted there and hopefully get everything arranged.

HURRY UP YOU GUYS! I'm lonely!
