Re: Who's got what left to do for B'Fest?
I'm leaving tonight... I should be there sometime Thursday afternoon. I would leave now if I could but I'm stuck at work till 3:30 then home to eat, finish packing and off I go.asylum wrote:Well I got here last night. Hotel is a little hard to find as the signage SUCKS! But it's a good spot.
Great coin wash almost right next door. And a neat Sports Bar right beside that.
Car ran GREAT! 24 mpg LOL!
Rain all day today but suppose to be nice Thurs and Fri.
Weekend looks like it might be OK.
I'm heading up to the track tonight to meet the fellow I contacted there and hopefully get everything arranged.
HURRY UP YOU GUYS! I'm lonely!

Seth made a good point on Yahoo. Have dollar bills ready for the Illinois tolls.
They LOVE their tolls here.

The hotel parking lot is pretty damn small.
If in fact there are going to be 40 cars here we'll own the damn place.
Good area though. The hotel is really clean and the people quite nice
Lots or restaurants not too far away, and great Sports bar next door is fine with me.
I ate there last night. Simple stuff, but is was full value.
The coin car wash next door is GREAT!
<<<Almost time for that
Pat's car is here but I haven't seen them as yet.

Based on his earlier post...I'd be trying the sports bar beside the coin wash. It is happy hour.

Kurt and bottle of Crown Royal got serious tonight!
And the CACK showed up!
What may possibly go wrong?
Time for a pizza and some sleep for me

Man, if I knew you were going to be up that late I would've dropped by after work.. I only work like 10 minutes from the hotel.
