New to this forum though not new to Berettas

Post by jpuetz »

I have a 1990 beretta Indy with the 3.1L and 5 speed i have done a lot of work on this car in the last year my question for the moment is that sometimes (can't figure a pattern to it) the engine will decide to start idling at about 3000 RPMs and i cant seem to figure out why honestly i have had nothing but problems with this car since i rebuilt the motor last winter lol

I believe it has something to do with the idle sensor, this seems to be one of the things with the Beretta. Hope this helps. Welcome to B'net!!

Have you checked codes? Or data logged to look for anything unusual like a high MAP reading?
