CHMSL Help - DTM Ace

Hoping one of you can help me get in contact with DTM Ace. He does LED conversions for lights on our cars. He is a frequent poster here. I sent him money & my CHMSL months ago based on good recommendations posted here and on the other site. All went well right up to a PM from him indicating the light was done, would be 'shipped in the morning' and that I would receive a tracking number. Now, nothing...... No light, no money back, no responses to many PM's (here and the other site) and its been over a month.

I do recall him posting that he wasn't well. I hope that nothing bad has happened, but I doubt it since he's been on here posting in the past few days. Although he hasn't taken the time or courtesy to respond to me PM's seeking an update.

Does anyone know how get in touch with Ace? I really want my light and I didn't want to post this publically, but not sure what else to do since he refuses to respond.

I'm not sure what to tell you, If you've PM'd him and got no reply, Try using his E-mail link if he has an e-mail associated with the account.

Other that that it sounds almost like Brennan... I have no idea where he vanished to.

I did try his email link. Also to no avail. I really don't think he's disappeared. His profile indicates he was on this board just a few days ago posting.

I know he had dial up where he was so he isn't on often.

Does anyone else have any other contact info for Ace?

I had no problems with Ace's LED work for me, but no contact with him other than through the boards.

Just to update you guys, I didn't die. But I have been busy as hell.

As I explained to dhenderz the other morning when he called, (it was very early for me btw) I actually had his done, then my big clumsy ass broke the thing, so I had to get him another light, which I have done. Trying to get it finished and out this week.

But that is not my only excuse, have also been sick for about 3 weeks fighting a nasty mucusy cold, been SO swamped with computer work it hasn't been funny, not to mention trying to finish repairing my oil pan on the beretta before the white crap flies up here, and that has been going on nearly 2 months now. Actually I'm heading up to work on that this morning.

Bottom line is my time is like non-existent lately, but I will get it done. Been way too long and I do apologize for keeping you waiting.

OK, so lets post an update. Let me check the calendar. Yes that's right its now Nov 25 and still no emails, PM's or phone call on the whereabouts of my CHMSL. Unbelievable.

Interesting. Maybe I'll have to make this my own project this winter instead of sending them off..

Usually Chris gets back to you within a couple of days but this is kind of nuts. It only takes a couple minutes to make a phone call or send an email.

Time for another update. Quick check of the calendar - Dec 3 now. Still no responses to emails, PM's or telephone call. Still no CHMSL.

What further can I say? Buyer beware.

Yes, last time I spoke with him I got another promise that it would be complete ASAP. That was Nov 9. Getting a little lame now.

Finally!

Its going out tomorrow. Or later this morning rather, since its after 1:30AM right now.

You know, I really don't have an excuse. I'm lame, lazy, and a bit busy, but that's about it. Hell I haven't even hardly been online lately. Truthfully, this has been nagging at me a lot to get it done, just for some reason I wasn't getting it done. But then I'm not the only one that doesn't get things shipped... SGR would know what that means, if he is around... He owes me a traveling card still from like over 8 months ago... LOL

Anyways.

Dhenderz, get me a call (I didn't have your cell number written down, again lame) tomorrow around noon. I will have shipped it by then, and can give you your tracking #. Its going out UPS. I think your address is still on the box, so that's where its going. If that is not correct, call me before 9 AM Eastern.

Otherwise you won't have the number till it gets to your doorstep. Going to be out running around the next 4 days on the road. Again.

Truthfully, I have been busy as hell the past few months, still doesn't make it right guys and I apologize for my lack of presence and behavior to the same.

I have heard many things have been said about this, (I have my sources) and as I said to that person I totally don't blame anyone for being sort of mad about it. I know I would be, and I have seen that same anger against others.

I did take the time to make it right, it works good, it looks great and you shouldn't have any issues. If so, you have my number!

DTM... that card I guess got returned to him when he finally sent it to your addy... You were not on so he then just sent it to the next person on the list.
