What??????

Well SOB!

That just figures......... Now I'm mad. I know he had the right address. And even if it made it near here the mail guy would have still brought if it the address was close.. LOL He knows me well enough.. Ah well. Still doesn't help the at least 5 or 6 months he sat on it. lol

Anyways, I'm getting ready to hit the road. Going to take Dennis's light to UPS store in town in just a short bit. Was writing up the install instructions... :p

"... of b**uff being down"

Not to threadjack, but honestly people need some reading comprehension. There is 0 reason to self censor bstuff, I have never had a problem with it being linked or talked about. The problem I had was with someone misrepresenting another forum as "the new bstuff" when they a) had no rights to use that name, and b) never contacted the actual owner of it.

May just have to redo the list over here. lol

Actually I am more willing to bet he never attempted to mail it at all. But that's just a theory. Ah well.

Mike didnt want to take the chance never seeing the card again. Figured it would end up like Dennis's chmsl, maybe you'd sit on it and brake it and have to make a new one 4 months later :D

Point taken.

However I had already been waiting on it for like 6 months prior to even getting the light to build in the first place. lol

Ah well. My own fault I guess. I had to go and be busy with real life. I hope Dennis got his light on Monday, haven't heard from him yet... Just worried he was on vacation or something now... :( Last time I checked the track it showed it to be delivered on Monday.

Thankfully (well in some ways) things around here are calming down a little bit shop wise. However I still spend 2 nights a week doing fire fighter 1 & 2 classes, running the occasional ambulance runs (had one yesterday) and still hopping around the area doing computer work.

Im not bustin your balls. Ive done this too.

I did want to make a reference to something you said tho. "I had to go and be busy with real life" Just want to make the point that while its just teh internetz, when you're dealing with real money, and real stuff, a car forum is still real life. You have a responsibility to deliver the good in a timely manner. Its not like you're playing a video game and decide to turn it off because you have other stuff to do. I think a lot of people feel that way, and its just not the case.

Again, not saying this just for your benefit, but for everyone, and maybe even mostly myself. As I said Im guilty of this as well.

Yeah, I actually realized that after I typed it thinking it was a bit of a lame thing to say, but to be fair I was thinking mostly of my time that I used to spend on the boards. That had taken a back seat for awhile, but no this project should not have.

As for the light, well there is no real simple way to explain it other than for some lame ass reason I just wasn't getting it finished and sent. Call it lazy, call it busy, call it whatever. I know he was frustrated with me, but I hope his patience was worth it when he gets it put in and everything. He had called me a couple of times, and he never seemed mad with me on the phone, but I could tell he was anxious. I did apologize to him though for keeping him waiting.

But like I said I haven't heard yet, and its been 3 days since he should have gotten it, so in some ways I'm worried about it now more than I was when it wasn't done, if that makes sense.

Dennis is a pretty good friend of mine now kinda lol. He was anxious because that was his daily driver and he needed his chmsl for it to be technically legal. Car looked pretty damn stupid without it lol.

I sent him an email a few days ago, I havent heard back in a while either so maybe he himself is busy.

Hey guys. Just got back from a biz trip. CHMSL was waiting for me - wife grabbed it off the porch. Will install it this weekend and confirm all is OK.

Thanks.
