damn, great write up mane, i emailed ben and he said i cant use the 3100 linkage on the lx5 throttle body so i suppose ill be ordering a 65mm tb eventually. but for now i guess ill be using the 31oo ported throttle body, unless someone knows how to fix the linkage for the lx5 tb to fit on my 3100 throttle cable??? ben never emailed me back about that question.

Thanks, I have hope for a sticky on it. Shuold have done it as a topic, but didn't plan to take it that far. As you can see from the title. Yeah the LX5 didn't look the same, but I thought there could be a chance. Never seen one up close.

me either never up close but in pictures never seen one installed onto a 3x00 yet though. i need to do a bunch of research, and find someone who has done it, so maybe i could see how to do it. or maybe send it out and have them modify it.

3400 mod had tce it on last build w/ 3400 uim and i had it on my hybrid, i would have to post a link to my photo bucket for you to see but its not step by step . their is a write up of this un the tb link of wot-tech of how to swap linkage in the tce which should still be close to the same as swappin to lx5. i cant think of the person right now who has used the lx5 tb off hand though either

My TCE needs some love from a buffer... she's getting dull since it's over 5 years old now... I got mine back in 2006 or 2007 I can't quite remember, but I know it was a while ago.

well when the time comes ill have to find the post on the tce throttle body stuff...but for now which throttle body should i run 52mm? or the 56mm?

thats what i was thinking maybe port it out just a little bit, isnt the large port 3100 uim a 52mm throttle opening? gonna port that also. maybe meet it at 58mm or a little more.

i dont know what exactly it is, not very people are replying to this but on another person topic they did everyday lol...idk where they went lol.

so heres an update, im picking up my 3500 next weekend, it has 82k with a 1 year warranty for 350 bucks and i also hear it run before i buy it. so soon ill be having some parts from the 3500 up for sale, (uim, fuel rail plus injectors, tb, and the exhaust manifolds ohh and the timing cover) dont know if anyone is interested pm if you are. my next check ill have my crank trigger and than after that ill see if wicked wants to fab up the downpipe for me...cant wait.

Why don't you just run a 65mm TB off a 3.5L DOHC? That throttle body is so easy to make work.

thats the lx5 throttle body we were talking about wicked, i dont know what needs to be done besides the adapter plate on the uim, what do i need to modify on the throttle bracket? could i send it out to you and have you do it? ill pay you. or at least tell me what i need to do?

UPDATE: got my lx5 throttle body along with my multec 2 injector harness. gotta start cutting up my injector harness to solder my multec 2 clips and does anyone know how to make the lx5 3.5dohc throttle body to work on my car?

i would also like to keep my cruise control functional if possible....so dusty how do i get it to work? could i send it to you possibly?
