Re: coolant level sensor change?
Thinking cracked tank. I can smell that stuff a mile away and have been looking for a long time. Thought it was just the temp sensor because it did start leaking. With that changed I couldn't think of anything else that could be leaking. I have checked the hoses and the tanks on the radiator over and over. Hope that it's the overflow tank. No I don't!

Thanks! Didn't think those guys would have one. Guess it's common for a tank to crack. I'm set if I need one.

Yeah that did it. Works fine so far.3400beretta wrote:99% of the time the float is just stuck.. a few taps on the side of the reservoir with a screwdriver handle or the like will take care of it.
Looks as if some fool over filled the tank. I'll keep an eye on the pig tail though. No new drips in that area so far.
Tad bit of dry coolant on the LIMG(changed once). I'm tired of the engine, starting to slap when it's warm. Think that the timing chain is getting loose too.
If I could find a big port 3100 or even a 3400 for cheap this poor old POS would be gone.
