Have fun at Bfest folks!

Post by SuzukiGhostRider »

I was actually truly going to go this year, but financial concerns and other problems that persist on plaguing me are preventing it. Next year I plan to go for SURE. I'm curious to see this event. I also rather am attuned to the idea of being a part of a caravan of Beretta's all prettied up and shiny going down the interstates. I think it would be rather amusing to see the looks of the traffic as we pass. :D

Anyway, have fun all, be careful and enjoy!

Best regards,

SGR

Hey Mike, you can still go. You can just ride with me and take Ron's spot if you wish? Im already passing thru your town, so it wouldnt be out of the way. BTW, im gonna talk to chad and see if we can stop by for a few on our way thru.

Best line at Chicago last year from an older gent checking out of the hotel on Saturday morning and looking at our cars in the parking lot.

Ya come on Mike. Bum a ride with someone.
I'm sure you and I could have some great discussions over a couple of cold Molson.

Sorry guys, but truly, monetary restrictions abide. Bumming a ride is one thing, but I've not got the cash for events , hotel, food, etc. I just don't have the extra cash this week. In a few weeks that would be a different story , but things are just too tight atm. And I don't do well leeching off of other people. :D

I also have some things going on here at home that just don't allow for me to leave, as they require some constant and personal attention from me.

Seriously , have a good time. I've got plans for the Quasar this winter motor wise, and body work to do. As well as some suspension and ECM mods. I'll start saving now and by next summer, I'll be ready to go.

Yup... Always "going next year for sure!"

And then all hell breaks loose and life caves in on you again. Or your girl is sick, or the car exploded. Maybe the rapture will actually happen too??

Those are such famous last words for anyone that mutters them! It all boils down to the month before the Fest. THAT, is the time frame that separates the attendees from those that stay home. Hell, I only have 17 hours before I am supposed to leave and I am still up in the air!!!

I knew that you would take that wrong. For god's sake man EASE UP!

Not every comment on this board is directed at you! My post went out to all of the people that make any sort of "I am going for sure" or, I will be there next year for sure" comment. Sure is only as certain as it can be come the time to execute!

I've NEVER said I would be "there for sure" ANY year. Except next year, barring some EXTREME circumstances. You seem to be commenting like that to anyone unable to go here, on FB, everywhere. Give it a rest.

I simply wanted to wish all a good time.
