Need Your Opinions

Post by 95BerettaBase »

Well, I've been toying around with the idea of finally selling my beloved Beretta. I've owned her for 10 years and 5 days and I just don't use it anymore. It needs a radiator and intake gasket and I just don't have to time to do it. I work nonstop and when I don't I sleep. I have 2 trucks, a motorcycle, and hopefully soon an '06 P71 Crown Victoria from work. There is a rust hole in the door jamb on the drivers side and almost another in the passenger side. The hood is faded and has some rust on the end of it. The rest of the car has paint chips in several places as well. The car is not perfect. Included would be the aftermarket wheels/tires and the stock set. The new KYB shocks/struts and Eibachs will go to, they are still in the boxes. How much do you think I could get for it? I know it won't be much. Here are a few pictures to help you decide.

Here I thought you were going to try to resurrect it...?

As for selling... Hmmmm.... Engine and rad can be fixed if someone wants to take the time. But I know this car has a ton of miles on it... What was it, nearly 300k? Rims and sidemarkers however would be a nice addition to a certain Z I know of... lol

As for price? Hate to sound like a lowballing, but I doubt it would collect more than a grand, knowing it has lots of things to fix. Only reason I think it would be worth that much would be for the rims and tires/extras/new parts that haven't been used, etc.

Is it worth fixing? Probably. But for someone to want to invest in it and fix it, that means they aren't going to want to pay a whole lot for it. I even have some interest in it, as a second vehicle to drive around in, for that matter. But off the top of my head, just for parts to fix the engine woes is going to run someone around 350-400 bucks. And I only know that having done this on mine already.

Think about selling the springs and struts separately? I might be interested.
