any way upgrade 1990-91gtz stock motor mounts?

is there anyway to upgrade these engine mounts? make them solid? how hard are they to pull out and replace? mine are shot on my car, there shot on my girlfriends car(going to replace hers with oem ones if possible?) but im looking to go solid, i know on the 92+ cars, you could polly fill them wich is what i did on the z26, but these mounts are a whole new ball game to me... haha.

I have an upgraded transmount on my 90. Its plastic....was hoping to show it off at bfest.
Saab's and some other companies to cables on the puck style to keep them from blowing up.

okay, so what did you do? and what options do i have? i remember seeing something about hockey pucks?? and i remember seeing metal ones but i think that was a limited thing? i never really paid much attention to the 90 and 91 style being ive always had 92+...

You can actually use three hockey pucks to make a new front mount. You dont want that to be completely solid, you will break stuff.

I run pucks in my 240 and it is extremely vulgar. But, I only have 2 motor mounts and both of them are pucks

If you run the pucks, you can ignore the rest of the mounts, the trans mount could be stiffened up if you want with something custom, but the rear mount I would leave alone. Its just a rubber isolator. I have the pucks in my 91 and the rest are stock and its deff crisper without feeling like its going to explode.

Mine rattles so bad at certain rpms that it changes settings on my head unit and makes my mirrors go nuts. But again, all my mounts are pucked.

I remember someone breaking the bolt tabs out from the block, by using reinforced\custom front mount, and worn out rear\side mounts...

yeah that was that billet mount that the Jace guy from Qf4 was selling. Puck still has some give.

Or you could do what i did and add the second trans mount that the 92+ cars have in them like i did. I could actually run the car with the passenger mount and both trans mounts and not have engine torquing. Was the best thing i did to my cars mounts. Of course, when i did this, i put in a 94 3.94 lol

mine already has that trans mount, as it also has the 3.94fdr trans, i really need to stiffen this bad boy up though, and the gf's is all origanal, no rust, and absolutly pristine other then the warped dash all the way down to the origanal gm floor mats, i plan to keep it as nice and orgianal as possible, heck, the cars never seen a winter in twenty years of living in the salt belt...
