Those of you with a Digital dash, question.

Post by indyyellow »

I noticed when the gas got low there was a small box, real small, that was flashing at the lower left side of the E for empty on the gas gauge. I can see this same box located in same place on the lower left of the C for cold on the temp gauge, that was is always lite up and the other gauses though they are not lite I can see the same boxs for when those issues arise.
My question would be, is you little box on the temp gause always lite up? Seems to me w it should not be unless you get into a overheat issues and that would be a warning light, though sorta lame.
Or does it just stay lite and still flashes when you are over heating.
If you are over heating ot the like are there any other warning signals from the cluster?

The little picture of the gas pump also flashes for a short amount of time when the gas goes low, as well as the DIC switching to "Range". I think when any of the other gauges get too high, the whole gauge flashes.

Thus far in my 90 when the gas was low, the E for empty, right at the lower left of the E there is a small tiny box that flashes when it was low. The same box is always lite on the temp gauge, same place, low left of the L on the Oil gauge. Oh well, I should be happy thaty the damn digital gauges work.
