Firewall Covers!

Post by scd88ga »

I have 2 or 3 sets of these in various conditions along with some mounting hardware and brackets. I'm willing to separate parts and pieces if you have a broken or missing piece! Let me now what you need!

Is there more than one knob that holds these on to the firewall? How much for the brackets?

There is one metal bracket that bolts to the center of the firewall with a short threaded stud that sticks off the front of it where the black plastic knob screws down to secure the 2 firewall cover pieces, other than that there is I believe 4 metal clips (2 on each side) that hold the sides of the firewall cover pieces securely to the fender edge. I have the bracket and all the clips, but I'm not sure if I have the plastic hold down knob, I have to go dig around a bit! lol

I have two hold down knobs, so don't worry about locating one.
