My big regret is pulling my a/c and like Kyle, spending so much money without a plan :( I prolly could have had her painted by now if i would have had a plan of attack.

I planned out my 91 as a one-time-build "do it once and do it right" project, but still ended up tearing it apart again a little more than a year after I "finished" it.

The conclusion I've come to is: guys like us are always going to be turning wrenches...no matter what.

I did some dumb stuff to my Beretta when i was 16. Bought a K&N cone filter that was too big for the car and had some ghetto hookup using heating parts made for your house. Although it actually kinda worked lol. I decided also to cut the stock muffler off with a hand saw and using a series of clamps and wires i "installed" a flowmaster muffler. I tried to turn my kickpanels into some sweet fiberglass kickpanels for bigger speakers and i did a pretty bad job. But i guess you gotta start somewhere. lol. I just regret dropping so much money into my first Beretta which had pretty high miles on it.

I would do _Everything_ different with my cars, if I could go back in time.

But I don't really regret things done. Okay maybe that one hooning night at the parking lot was stupid, or that dual exhaust tip on the base, that I removed in a week, no harm done.

All of these things teach you a lesson. It's called experience. ;)

Fact.

At points I regret having so many, because none of them are getting finished. I just want ONE to be done. I always snatch up parts at times I think they will be scarce but never end up using for years sometimes. Like rare transmissions and dashes. Did you guys know I have 3 transmissions and 4 complete engines in my garagage? Not in storage, right in my garage. I also have 3 perfect dashes in different colors, one that hangs from seatbelts on the ceiling because of no space, two complete sets of Z04 seats, two and a half complete interiors including carpet for 91+ GTZs, and 3 complete sets of Z04 ground effects, that i simply will never use, but cannot sell... Because "what if I did?" And couldn't find it.

My stroker would be built and done by now if hadn't spent so much money on crap I had to have, but still don't need.

i dont really regret much... most things are reversible... if you can find the part. i usually plan and think about things before grabbing the sawzall! lol (for the record, i have never used a sawzall on a car... yet) grinder is my weapon of choice!

i regret not having the money to do things perfectly properly... most as in rust control. i really hate body work, i just do it cause i can, and would beat myself if i paid someone else big bucks to do it...

really, you do what you can...

Paying a lot of money and a fortune for shipping for used Dew Strips which looked better than my ones and were supposedly still flexible. They have been getting worse. I should have known...they are as old as all of them!
