Need help locating a part.
So, I've looked high and low for the CORRECT clutch pedal pivot bearing and CANNOT find the damn thing anywhere! It's plastic with 4 tangs that fit the groove on the clutch pedal pivot.
It's the plastic pivot bearing that goes where the master cylinder connecting rod connects to the pivot shaft on the clutch pedal. I've installed a new "bearing" that will work SHORT term, but I need the CORRECT plastic one. My GTZ has the same bearing and it's correct, but I can't even find one for IT when looking. It doesn't need the part but as they're both '92's I thought maybe I could locate the Beretta's. No dice.
This is for my '92 SCX.
If anyone knows the part number or where to locate the damn thing I'd be very appreciative.

No that's the pedal bushing. That is available EVERYWHERE. It looks like the ones in the link below. The first two big pics are good shots. Yes, it's a neon but same setup with same style pivot bushing.

Mike, what Jon posted, is what your looking for. The pic is just not showing the fingers your refering too. The dorman number he posted has what you need. I found out the hard way after i bought one from GM two years ago for $1.54.

Re: Need help locating a part.
Nope Geoff. Trust me , the part number he posted matches the picture. I already tried a set just in case from O'reilly's the other day even though I knew they were for the pedal itself. Thus the reason there are exactly TWO of each of the three sizes in the package. Both brake and clutch pedals each require TWO bushings. See link for same part number and product.

Now the second one he posted has the correct TITLE, but no picture to verify unfortunately.
But yes, I'm quite POSITIVE of what part I need, as the Quasar has confirmed it for me and I know they used identical parts on that end of things. So have a few diagrams. Someone posted a diagram on Q4F that further confirms I'm correct.
I may end up going to the dealer , unfortunately......

Re: Need help locating a part.
The dealer site I posted is the only one that shows what your referring to on-line and you need to search for it by calling it a part of the "clutch master arm", not part of the pedal, thats why If you look for pedal bushing you get what I first posted.
So you have two options, find a reman master that has the part and contact them to see if you can buy it separately, or to just go to the dealer with that part number, or order from GM-Parts Direct, or the site I posted.
I always bring my prices in from GMPD to the dealer and they match them no questions asked since I'm a regular there... worth a shot if they don't price match or give you a lower price already.

I might have a picture of the bag my extra one was in; it'll have the GM part number for it. I know exactly what you're talking about; let me see if I can find some more info out when I get home.
