1995 Beretta Base
1995 Beretta Base
I am selling my 1995 Chevrolet Beretta because I need a 4 door car for my family. I bought the car off of my neighbor late last year because I desperately needed a vehicle to drive and while I really like this car because it looks cool and is decent on gas, it just isn't practical. I am an ASE certified mechanic and all recent work has been done by me.
The Good:
Good inspection until April/12
Head gaskets were replaced less than 10,000 miles ago
Newer style upper intake manifold gaskets were used
All fluids were just changed less than 1,000 miles ago
Full tune up performed less than 1,000 miles ago
Ignition control module was just changed
New front struts
Passenger side lower ball joint
Both front outer tie rod ends
Has premium Autolite Iridium plugs with less than 1,000 miles on them
New water pump less than 10,000 miles ago
New alternator less than 10,000 miles ago
Transmission shifts smooth with no clunks or slips
Engine doesn't burn any oil
New paint
The stock muffler was replaced with a Thrush glasspack muffler and a 4 1/2 inch tip. It looks good, not like ricer trash, and I still have the stock muffler.
The stock air filter and stock box was removed and replaced with a cone filter but I still have the stock parts
The car also has a new GT Grant three spoke black/chrome steering wheel but I also have the stock wheel
The car rides really smooth on the highway with the new suspension
The heat works 100% (will make you sweat)
The Bad:
A/C clutch won't kick on (most likely just needs charged)
The Air Bag light stays on because of the aftermarket steering wheel
The coolant temp doesn't display (broken sensor)
Does have some slight rust (hole in hood, which will be filled, door sills, and drivers quarter, which will be fixed)
Paint is just a quick job done by me (looks good but not professional by any means but I have had a lot of complements)
Interior is aged (has front seat covers but top of rear seats are faded and ripped.
Carpets were just stained black and some interior pieces were painted
Car has 192,000 miles on it but this engine and trans have been well taken care of, my 94 Corsica had over 300,000 miles on it when I scrapped it and the engine and trans were still 100%
The emergency brake cable is broken
The hood is black but the car is royal blue
The front rims were replaced with the 15" wheels from my old Dodge Spirit because I had two brand new 15" tires but I still have the stock 14" steel wheels and hubcaps but they were all painted black so it wouldn't be so obvious
If you have any questions, please feel free to call or text me at 724-624-4398 and my name is Rob. I am not looking to rip anyone off or mislead anyone in any way. I am an honest guy with a family and another little one on the way. If you would like some more images of the car just text me. Thanks! Also, I am flexible on the price so anyone that submits a reasonable offer will mosy likely get it. I work every weekday from 9:30am to 6pm so if you would like to come see it it would have to be weekdays after that time or on the weekends. I am asking $1000 for it and I would honestly like to get as close to that as possible but I am flexible. I am in New Brighton, PA near Pittsburgh.

Re: 1995 Beretta Base
Actually guys I would also like to mention that the door sills have some rust and the rear shock towers have some rust on them. They aren't rusted through but probably will be if they aren't shown some love soon (which I plan to do tomorrow). I would take $800 if someone wanted to use it for parts or just a beater to go from a to b. It runs amazingly well. Im just looking for a quick sale guys. Anyone wants a good car cheap...here it is. I just don't want to mislead anyone or blow smoke up your ass.
