Friends, Roadtrips, and GTUs
My GTU when I picked it up.

Bought it from an original bnet member from way back. He's a family man now. No time for it anymore. <SAD FACE>

Always make sure to check your grounds. They are important.

Mountains like to pop up out of nowhere.

They make for good opportunities though...

For all the crap I gave him for being a japanese tourist, Mike Pride was right when he said I would look back at these pictures with fond memories. I hate when he is right, never lets me forget it! Slideshow attached for you enjoyment. Thanks for the visit.

Looks like it was an awesome trip! I'm definitely jealous of: Geoff's house, Tail of the Dragon, that giant Culver's sign that looks like a telescoping antenna (does it go down at the end of the day?), oh and that gorgeous GTU! Thanks for sharing your pictures.

Great view, I sure wish I could go there. The paint chips just don't go with such a nice looking car. I had a 90GT so I know how it is. At least you can wash your car.

Started as a chip, then the primer washed away and later rusted.
Really I was thinking about the front spoiler.

Re: Friends, Roadtrips, and GTUs
Car was left outside in salty Florida for a couple years, about 5 miles from the ocean. So I have an explanation. As for the front lip, he pegged a tire chunk on the highway at some point. It all needs a repaint, I knew that going in. Soon as the roads get the first spring rain, I'll start shopping around. Too cold now to fix the surface rust.

I do not miss the porno stache.
TOD looks good.
Not sure if you stopped by one of the dam's - but the one was used in the Fugitive.
Graham County NC is not far from there - they filmed season 2 of Moonshiners up there.

We didn't stop by any dams, I think we were too far downriver for that.
