EHell yeah Norm! Cannot wait to see your Corvette man! I think this is the perfect way to step into long term Corvette ownership and possibly collecting Vettes as many people begin to do. Mate it with a Beretta!
This is tight as hell. Hey if this Vette has tail lights, and you want to sell them to recoup some fundage, let me know. I'm kind of wanting some to play with on my truck.
I didn't think I could pawn any parts off the donor in this forum. I'd figure the Corvette Forums would be my new friend, besides ebay.
What exactly did you need? All of the electrical system will be transfered to the Beretta right done to the lighting bulbs. But the lens will be available.
Sounds great!

I am in a hotel with just dial-up so no pics for 24 hours until I return. I did a quick look over when the car was loaded and we're about an hour north of Atlanta. The suspension looks to be in pretty good shape. My concern of buying a car unseen aside from a few pics on an auction website was releived as the body panels are toast(see page 7) everything else looks great. The interior is flawless, aside from a little weather from not having windows. The computer/harness will need some tlc. Sat/Sun we're disecting the rolling chasis from the frame. Metz' might show up!

Very awesome, glad to hear you've found a good donor car. Hopefully all goes well and you make some serious progress with this

About 1300 miles of truckstops and Cracker Barrel from Ohio to GA. Good trip over all. Got many looks with the truck bed loaded like the pictures. More pics this weekend.

Norm thats gotta be the most ghetto, most redneck, most ingenius way of transporting a car ever!
You know those are going to end up as some kind of "owned" pics or something, only in the South pics.
Oh well whatever works right?
I just pulled my project Z26 from WI tonight, so I know how getting a car roadtrip feels like.
Good luck with everything!

Everything is stripped except for the insturment panel. A truck load of spronged connectors to the main frame for the electrical. Fuel, AC(uncharged courtesy of previous owner), body panels, upper suspension components and interior have been removed. I spent allot of time labeling electrical pigtails as Jim Metz and my father twisted the screws. Many parts maybe salvageable for someone else's C5. So we spent extra time removing stuff.
We got to examine the effects of an accident of the this magnitude, roll over. Got some pretty amazing pics of things that get bust in dislodged at high speed. Even broke the driver's seat frame. :-O
