Got a light dusting here, I'm not too happy at the moment. I was looking forward to getting to plow the drive with the quad.

29-31 all week and we were lucky to see the morning frost/light dusting. Tomorrow is forecasted for 2" and 1" per day after that until the new year.

West of minneapolis here. Was driving home in the beretta in a blizzard a few weekends ago. Then drove through over a foot of drifting snow the next day for pizza. I love my snow tires.
Sent from.... oh forget it.

Ha. We just unburied the snowplow today. Talk about late to the party. Sad part was, we got that truck stuck while backing it out from where the plow was sitting. Had to use another truck to free it. But you have to keep in mind, we were working with about 2ft of snow there, it was a bit deep.
And if all that didn't make sense, here are the nuts and bolts of it:
The snow plow is a fancy Blizzard plow with the extendable ends (up to 10" span) that can be removed pretty easily, self hitch/unhitch.
The truck its mounted on, is a 77 GMC 3/4 ton with beefed suspension, 350, 4x4 full size.
The transmission was burnt up in it from Dad using it to plow snow while it was low on transmission fluid. Oops. Burnt out the 1st/reverse packs. So, we dropped the transmission on the 23rd, he rebuilt it, and we just put it back in the truck today. Also had to fix a frozen wheel (brakes were rusted to the drum on the rear).
Now that its fixed, we have a snow plow truck once again. I spent a couple of hours under it, helping to drop the transmission and helped put it back in.
Our road is still snow covered, but most main roads are now pretty decent. We ended up with on average 10-14 inches from that storm.
