Nothing like someone b!tc#ing because you don't see the world through the same color glasses they do, or want to eat your Cheerios from the same color bowl... :bad: I am so disgusted with this crap -I am not suggesting that it is okay to turn every parking-lot into a scrap-yard, and everything must have some kind of limit or someone will find a way to push the boundaries beyond reason, but why can't people mind their own effing business? If your car was legally parked in a space you had a right to, and it wasn't oozing every kind of fluid a car uses into the ground, who cares if the engine is out of it or not? What are you doing to harm them in any way? I'm sorry, but I thought the nazis were beaten back in the 1940s...

Glad to hear the car is going back together for you, too bad our country is coming apart. :sorry:

I'm assuming that its visible the car was apart.
and that someone complained somewhere along the way.

Im my opinion, if its being worked on, its fine.
The cops and whoever is in charge of the lot where its parked should have the decency to leave well enough alone.

But then again, if it is on jack stands in the street, or people are under it in the street, I'm not sure, but I think thats a no no, safety concerns.

There is probably still a safety concern if it's in a parking lot that you do not own... Liabilty comes into play since the lot is not yours and a lawyer could have a field day saying it was not level, or the pavement was bad causing the car to fall and so on... Might have been the lot owner who reported it because they don't feel like dealing with an injury lawsuit.

I can see why they were mad. Most apartments frown on that kind of thing.
Didn't know you had two Berettas.
