What's the deal with the subframe? The right side subframe/control isn't the same for the auto and manual trans, right? I read in another post that it needed to be changed, but both write ups I've seen for swapping in 5 speeds made no mention of this. To be fair though, the weren't for Berettas. Has anyone made one? Finally, what's the part number on the getrag transmissions for the v6s?

Well, there's a few different subframe setups available.
1) 87-91 2.0/2.2/2.8/3.1 - Horizontal control arm bushings, torque strut on drivers side. Early models may have a lateral strut on the passenger side as well on the automatic. Also a brace for a bump stop mounted to the 5-speed transmission on the drivers side.
2)90-91 Quad4 - Has cross brace in the front for the engine mount, horizontal control arm bushings.
3)92-93, All - Torque strut mount on passenger side, horizontal control arm bushings.
4) 94-96, All - Torque strut mount on passenger side, vertical rear control arm bushing.

But will I have to swap mine out in order to put in a 5 speed?
