I have the stock muffler on my '90 gtz. It rattles and sounds old. Really irritates me. A friend of mine has a terminator on his 3.1 cavy and it sounds deep. Some people confuse it for a 5.0. I've considered buying the same one.

Magnaflow street series. Polished stianless w/ dual 3.5 " tips....its deep, smooth, good kackle when it winds down...it makes me grin on a regular basis.
Makes the 2.2L sound like it has a pair.

I think mine is still the original.. Anyway to tell? I have never put one on it. But I bought it 4 years old. 83000 kms on it...

I choose other. All I have is mandrel bent 2.25 inch pipe, a run of the mill resonator, and aluminum tip. The exhaust is bent so it exits directly behind the drivers side door.
I think its fairly loud, I have no complaints.

stainless steel Naxos freeflow muffler and tip assembly...... everybody has seen a Beretta before (bellybutton cars) no offense, i love my car, but everybody notices a Beretta with a massive exhaust system and loud

Hooker AeroChamber.
And I'm surprised no one else has one. Great sound, no annoying resonance at highway speeds. Very low restriction (you can see through it)

I know I have a Flowmaster, just not sure which series since I bought it from a guy who had it in another car...I didn't really know then that there were more series Flowmasters...I don't really care-it still sounds good! I have it set up with 2 tips coming out of the muffler, one on each side of the car..one of these days I will put a pic up to show you guys what I mean...it's kinda hard to explain. And I have 3" chrome tips on it too...

I am runing a 2 1/2 cat back with a 21/2 inch in 4 inch out reactive on my 90 GTZ. It sounds great and it dosent sound tingy. It sounds like Rex's GTZ.

Well I have a flowmaster 40series. However my pipe busted apart after the catalytic lastnight. I think I'm going to go with a side outlet setup now.

Dynomax SuperTurbo, not too expensive but a very nice muffler...
(just a small reminder that a muffler on a 3.1 is a lot different sounding then on a 3100... sometimes people forget that when they argue about the best sounding------I know that wasn't really related)
