It hasnt rained here in awhile.....its just hot!!!!!!!!

Let's talk about how badly your car(s) *beeeeeeppppppppp* you off!! I am supposed to leave for a minifest tomorrow at 11 am to meet Aaron (406Z26) in Grove City.. Welllllll... my heater core decided to go POP!!!!    

Needless to say I am broke because of my stupid dog getting sick so I cant go.. Hopefully I will get to go to the Columbus Minifest..

I swear.. Life is a test and I keep failing!!!!

Yeah, bad news, Tiff. Hope ya get it taken care of soon. In the meantime, redirect that cold front thisa way.

I woke up yesterday morning to a dead battery. I seemed to have somehow left my dome light on. I could tell because it had rained the night before and there was moisture all over the top of the car except for where the dome light and the map lights are.
So not really the Beretta pissing me off as much as it is me pissing myself off.

I think we have all had a crappy week.

Yeah, Tiff, I am ready. Although it looks as though those poor souls that got pounded by Charlie from the Gulf are now going to get slammed coming from the other direction.
Speaking of troubles with Beretta's and being ready for a hurricane.
So, the saga continues. I go to work this morning, then I had to leave for an appointment. I get in the car and pull out of the parking lot and start to roll down my power windows.
The passengers side comes down with no problem, but the drivers side gets hung up halfway down. I am like ###? So I jockey the window up, then down, then up, reach over and grab a handful of glass and push down, then pull up and I am like ###?!?! in a big way. Let me tell ya.
So I am looking at the front leading edge of the window and I see this plastic piece sticking up. I push down on it and it goes ker-plunk into the bowels of my door.
What it was, was the plastic piece that is glued to the leading edge that rides in the guide.
Somehow the heat or age finally took it's toll.
I went to the yard and pulled a new glass and track from a 96' base, along with new rubber molding that is inserted into the side, upper and front of the door window channel.
Let me tell ya, that 96' rubber molding was in MUCH better shape than the one I yanked out of the car during the repair.
I was in a rush to get it done because it always rains here around 2 p.m. and I have an appointment to get all of my windows tinted tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.

I swear.. My GTU is putting a curse on all the cars in the SE section...

Tint... mmmmm I love tint. I want to see pics when it is done. What % are you going to?

Don't get washed/blown away by the hurricane! Winds are @ 145!!! WOW!!! pressure is @ 27.64.. I am gonna have to watch the weather to see if thats rising or falling. Hope it doesn't get any stronger. Keep us updated!!

Here's your tint, Tiff.    Told him I wanted 15% on the back and sides and 35% on the doors. Well, he must have misunderstood me, it is ALL 15%...and I love it!

These pics were taken around 6:15 p.m., so it was getting kinda dark. I'll replace these with better ones once the tint is dry and the sun is out.

That looks great Jim! I wish I could have gotten 15%, but I just stuck with the state limit. Half the time my windows dont even look tinted!
