Not even to a quarter on the gauge. Doesn't move at all with time, and I also have the highest gear ratio possible for that trans, I turn more rpm than you do at 75

My AC works perfect with all stock stuff and the gauge never gets above the first notch, plus a little, and that is only because when the fan took out the rad they put a 195 thermostat in.
The stock rad is more than efficient.
Hell the 3500 never overheated at all on all the trips to meets and races with a stock rad and that thing would buzz at 3500 RPM for 4 or 5 hours at a time.
Flush it, or get a new stock unit and carry on my friend.
They do wear out and get plugged up, but a clean one is all you need.

must of been my original rad that was 19 years old, swapped it out,and now i can idle for long periods with out it going into the H mark.stays a tad above normal with A/C on max.
boy, that bottom tranny line, holy hell, and that cooling fan, where was the engineers that day,had to take the fan blade off first, then unbolt the fan motor, then i was able to unplug it,then the shroud.i thought one bolt for the shroud, pull the whole thing out, not! i even took the top rad brackets off, still didn't give me enough room to sneak the fan out as a unit.had to install the same way, shroud, motor, blade.yeah,i cursed GM today, sue me!

swapping rads out helped alot.just got back from my trip, put 1500 miles on it,ran cool and great all the way.plus 30+ mpg.
took a trip to a casino, came back to my son's house and noticed my driver's door had a nice dent in it.his neighbor came out and told me he had hit it,I told him I appreciate his honesty and i will keep repairs to a minimum.maybe a body shop could pull the dent, and fix paint problems.paint on that door is the only bad paint on the whole car.door was replaced by a dealer when it was new.they did a very shoddy job.
