EI wouldnt do it.  You're talking about those crosslaces right?
It would take too much time to polish them.  Unless you're going for just the lip.
Well I will let you know in a few weeks.
I'm going to do my crosslaced wheels over the winter.
Just the outside rim and the "face " of the crosslace.
I might even paint them black first so the "insides" are, well, black. (Maybe body color?)
Then polish the hell out of the face and rim 'til I can see myself.
Maybe get "redgtz" to make me some cool center caps.
Hell I've got all winter, lol

Doing the face is easy, going and getting ito the laces will be the  hard part.  Anyone can do a face of a flat rim or lib of a simple rim.

Pictures?
I haven't even started yet.
It'll be a winter project up here in the great white north.
I'm thinking of painting the wheels to match the body first (Quasar Blue) then just polishing the lip and face, and seeing if "redgtz" can make me some cool billet center caps.
If I don't like them I'm only out a set of cross laced wheels, and I'm sure I can move them at any local swap meet.
Plus it will give me something to do. And the cost will be minimal.
What do you guys think? Start with about 250 grit and keep going?

Mine have been machined on the face of the wheel to get a nice flat surface and them polish and paint them...

If anyone want some billet center caps to go with your polished wheels, let me know...
