Congrats Erich. I have some unfinished work I could use some assistance with. I'll have to set up an appointment when you're up and running.

This winter was horrible for getting things done and kept me from working on real stuff this winter. Van's parts came sooo late that snow came several times....its been brutal. Even today we got snow.
With no where to work the van sat. My new Express van has been giving me headaches as well and my mini's core is back there.
I may decide on an official name of my monkey business.
I have used several different over the years but will probably have to register to be all legal and stuff.
This shop idea all came about because i am triping over myself with 5 storage lockers and not getting things done.

This sounds like an excellent opportunity for you Erich. Very cool stuff indeed. I'm sure you know that we'll all be keeping our ear to the ground for new information as you progress into this new aspect of your life!

Congrats on the shop Erich, that's awesome. Rent on that much storage had to be killing you anyways, and now there'll be actual working room too.
Let me know when that open house is, I'll be there

With the shop in Cary, are you moving from your place in Skokie?

Sounds sweet man; I'm envious. I want to build a shop so bad, but I can't afford it right now.

Here are some photo's that were taken of the place.
Office is 12'x30' I am going to carpet it. I have to remove all the Ford decals off windows and shop area.
Has a hoist from the rafters. The loft above the office is designed to handle a lot of weight and will be my inventory. I will probably store delicates from the rafters.
The photo's show heater, lift, hoist, the washroom...etc..

My roomate is from Cary. So I know it's a pretty nice area. Good luck with the shop and getting the thing all setup!
