Plug the MAP back in.

Take the negative battery terminal off the battery for a little bit and that will erase the code.

You will need to do an idle relearn.  I think it is in the FAQ.

My 3.1L '91 is showing many of the same problems as tlc's (I have a current post on the board about it).  I have replaced all the sensors, but not plug wires, coil packs or cleaned EGR.  So, I am waiting with some impatience to see if tlc sorts out his issues as mine may be related.  tnx.

You said you got new plug wires?
My daughters 92 Buick v6 had newer, no name wires. They would arc internally and the car would die when coming to a stop. I checked them with an ohm meter and found one or two had much higher resistence. Something like 30,000 ohms as opposed to 10,000 ohms for the rest of the wires. I tried re installing the ends to the wire but the problem came back. Finally I went and bought Delco plug wires and the problem went away and hasn't been back.

Heres what I have done to this 89 beretta gt 2.8 v6. T hat has been giveing me stalling at the stop sings  grief. Last night stayed up till 5am.I took off the EGR,IAC,Throttle body, and the plenum. And I cleaned them out with carb. cleaner and I do mean cleaned!!! inside out used a tooth brush,Q-tip I made darn sure the Iac was measured at 1 1/8 and REALLY clean inside.while I had it apart I replaced the O-rings on the fuel injectors.Also sprayed the end of the injecters with carb cleaner,just to be sure there was no carbon ect there.Went to the extent of vacuming every little spect arond the fuel injecters.I replaced vacum lines to the map sensor.Also replaced the pcv valve.Right now I am doing a idel relearn.It is sitting there ideln get right now.will let every one know how it runs once I get the relearn done.But so far its ideling great just sitting there.

Up date, Well I did my idel relearn yesterday. it ran good for a bit no stalln. Then it did it again but this time it was just a bit of a differnt kind of a stall which made me think it was the fuel filter which was not all that old less than 6 months. Bot I changed it any how,and while I was at it did the oil and filter it was due any how. double checked the coil packs and wires  one wire on a coil pack was not snaped on ALL the way. Took it for a ride in town stopn at every stop sign I could find. I drove around town for 20 miles worth of nothing but stop and go. No stalling ! So not sure with thing I did that it no longer stalls at 20 miles of stop signs but like I said its not stalln any more idels great!! now if I could just figure out this digital dash. I want to thank every one that helped me on this. Thank you all  and I hope this helps some one else with them problum{tina}
