What is your net offset then?

My orange car needs a rim job... LOL the clear coat is peeling on the rim dish area.

I think the actual wheel offset is 58mm (that's a standard C5 offset). The working offset is around 20mm with the spacer. That makes the inner clearance fairly identical to the stock wheels.

38mm.. Is stock 40 or 42? I think I read it was 42mm.

stock is 42.

Nothing wrong with not washing the numbers off your car. I still have shoe polish from when I broke the rear end at Cicero in Oct '08...

I re-read this thread, I thought they were 8" but now I see 8.5" Wow. 17x8 has to be do-able with 245's with an aftermarket wheel with no adapter.....

rear tires are still 225/45. They were on the old wheels and still good...

That is one of the meanest looking berettas around.

I dont know how your pulling these off either. I have 35mm offset 7 inch wide wheels. With 225/45 I had to roll my rear fenders ALOT to stop it from rubbing after the rear disk swap. I still have more to go.
Its fine up front.

Are you keeping that camber? That could change your clearances a lot too.

Oh, don't think I don't rub the tires... They do, but none of the body panels are all that good, so I don't really care that much yet. I'm thinking to extend the flare on the front fenders a bit.

The camber is set around -1.0°, the toe at around -0.04°. it has a pull to the left right now, so it has to go back in and get re-adjusted.

As for the rest of it...

Stock 1999 3400 (installed in 2003). Fidanza flywheel, Clutchmasters level 3 clutch, NVG T550 (3.61) trans with a Torsen. Koni shocks and struts (the right ones). Eibach Springs, Rear "Air Lift" add-on springs, P-S-T Urethane control arm bushings, N-Body front spindle conversion with C5/C6 bearings, N-Body brakes for now. Driveshaft Shop axles. 17x8.5 C5 Magnesium wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires, 245 front, 225 rear.

It pulls good off the line, but the top-end kinda went weaksauce when I reverted to 3100 exhaust manifolds after not getting the 3400 ones to seal right, and replacing the steering rack a few times because of it. When I first drove it with the 3400 I thought something was wrong because the power was cutting out, not realizing that I was at 6200 RPM.

Barry I didnt realize you're running 225/45s on an 18" wheel. That means you're 1" taller than stock tire height, throwing your speedo off quite a bit.

Mine are on a 17 inch wheel, but they are still a little taller than stock
