I'm not big on those things. I had the same set up on my 90(tranzgenic CAI). I don't use the AC that much and I could smell that burnt oil from the breather when I used the vent (when stopped or at idle). Also sometimes when I opened the hood I could smell it. How do I put this............ your car looks too good to have the I spent all of my money on the body and none on sealing oil leaks smell.

You still want some vacuum to remove combustion blow by so it doesn't contaminate your oil while cruising... One side is vacuum, one side is a breather stock... Should be that way still....
Why go OBDII? you have OBDI so you can tune with that....

so last night was just a test fire with no down pipe, but today we fabbed up a down pipe out of the old stock one (eeeeeeewwwww, 1 7/8 inch id) just as a temporary place holder. also i only had grand am heater lines to work with so the heater core is bypassed at the moment. also, i can't find a fugging place to put my coolant temp sensor for the gauge, i got the one for the pcm to read but not for the gauge grrrrrrr. alot of little things i "temporarily" fixed because i have to drive the car like tomorrow. but she still runs. my 3.1 injectors are loud as fudge and kinda piss me off but hey, what ever. oh ya, on a stock 3.1 tune it seems alittle sluggish fir it being a big upgrade but i believe that to be because of the tune.

Use a 3-wire sensor in place of the two wire, then you can have your gauge working with only the one sensor.

really, you will need bigger injectors.
I just did a 3400 manifold DP but didn't have the time to make the fixture. With enough interest I could probably convince the lucky owner to let me take it off for a day.

The stroke is the same, but the bore is bigger than the 3.1. You will need some 3400 injectors.

Wicked's down pipe would be the one to get!

Plus the 3400 heads and intake flow a TON better than the gen2 crap. That right there will be a big part of needing more fuel. 3400 injectors and a 3400 tune chip is a must.
EDIT:
Route those plug wires like stock it will look better. And get a crimp thing for the TV cable so that it fits in like stock and doesn't wear like that...
Also, grab a 95+ engine mount from a junkyard. From a beretta, grand am(95-98) etc. It has a better top piece and will fit the poly insert correctly and last longer.

Ouch, what happened to the ICM wires? That is one strange PCV breather. What are you using on the other side? Do you smell oil fumes at idle? Or did you luck out by having that hood to get rid of them?
Good looking engine, I would push that hose for the vac mod on more though, just in case.
