and well first off you'll never get 300 hp out of a 3.1 to start unless you booost the hell out of it and even then you may never reach that goal as they dont allow much air flow due to restrictive intake manifolds and small port heads and to let you so far the most hp out of a well built 3500 is only 275hp n/a that was in a cavy

3400 or 3500 can easily be swapped into your car in a weekend too and start your plat form around the 200hp mark stock

well thank you for your advice ill just keep the 3.1 i got right now n next winter or so get the 3500. if u find one let me know people that will buy my motor and trans right now ...... if i found a 3500 and a 5 speed to bolt up to it i would jump on it right now knowing what i do now. you live like 2 2and a half hours away so if you find a 3500 and a 5 speed to bolt up let me know!

well here is an update.
i got the body kit on and some interior done here is what she looks like now

Some fitment issues there huh, side skirts look good, front and rear look like crap, I'm guessing it's not close to being done, destroyed the trunk w/ that spoiler too. Finish er up and it should look good. Hows your engine and trans doin', ya get it all swapped yet?

no have not n prolly going to just get a different retta that's manual already... n yes your right i got the front almost done and the back going to start on when i get the time agen the yards around here want 200 for a deck otherwist i would lmao.

Please do something else with your plate. Zip tied on and its not even centered!

This thread is amazing! I want to do the same things as you, but I plan on starting with a really clean GTU or Indy! I will most likely prime random parts and leave it that way too. I like the double decker aluminum wings better than yours, but your is nice too! My buddy will make me a huge viynl ninja to put on the sides of the car if I want!!! I want a cherry bomb glasspack with a big chrome tip so it sounds like a V8! I wish APC was still in bidness, they made all the cool stuff!
