Ya im going z the kit was getting old and for me to make it look like i wanted it I would have alot of time and money in that kit so the z26 kit is good enough for me. All that needs done now is new radiator, new windshield, and painted. I was thinking about doing a poor mans paint job I don't no if you guys have read the post but they used house paint and brushed it on I was going to spray it on. I got the old hood and fender laying around so if I do decide to do that I will defiantly test it out first.

If you do that your going to want to block out as much of that house paint as possible. Otherwise that crap will never stick on there very good you will get major chipping within a year probably.

I'm going to talk to styluss to get that write up over here as well.
If you ask him it works ok but its not the most durable paint job. The Clear Coat of a automotive paint job really holds it in, and since the home paint is lacking that it is a bit more prone to chipping. Also with using a brush or roller it goes on a bit thicker so that makes it even more prone to chips. But you did state doing it via spray. You might as well just get some cheaper dual stage from Summit or something and spray it. It will still be cheaper than getting it done somewhere but at least you'll be using a paint that should hold up to the abuse of driving.

Well I really want to buy this signal stage enamel burnout blue paint but it is $100 and the clear is $100. So right now that is $200 that I dont have probably I most likely wont go with the house paint it was just a idea roaming my head.

Then its just buying clear coat and some 2k primer so i can primer the new bumper's the have some scrapes that 2k will take care of. So give me maybe a month with winter time here my factory has cut all over time so bill's then the car.
