hope you make a speedy recovery.. your reputation on here is how i know you, but you have my respect and you are in my prayers... going through that kind of horrible surgery is exhausting to say the least...

Hello Jon,
Eric is not well. He has contracted mycoplasma pneumonia, and is still in the hospital.
And his (ex)wife, Beth, (his divorce is not yet final) has restricted most of my access to him and it's pretty fucking frustrating.
As far as I have been able to determine it's not at all life threatening, but I just don't know what to do.
He's going to be in the hospital for another couple of weeks it seems.
I'm sorry it's come to this, but he has told me he trusts you, and I'm scared and don't know alot of his friends. We have only been together for about 6 months.
I'm really scared.
He would never ripoff anyone Jon. He's not like that, but I don't know what to do.
Please don't let people say bad things about him. He's a very proud man Jon .

She was replying with his e-mail account before but now she is using her own.
I'll try to keep you all up to date, but it sounds like unless someone gets in contact with him directly via phone at the hospital he is staying at, OR through his in process Ex Beth, then this is my only source.

The old man got mycoplasma pneumonia? Wow. I thought only kids got that.

Yeah I don't know, it says its a infection more prone to people younger than 40, but thats about all I know about it. But on the other hand I see that Pneumonia is prone to those who just underwent triple bypass.
I have no way to directly contact him, and with the trouble that Barb is supposedly having with his in process ex, then I'm sure any of my efforts will get crushed in a heartbeat.

(It's just nuts that his ex is acting like that. I take it that he is not well enough to tell the hospital staff to make his wife butt-out and allow his current gf to visit.)

have you ever seen an ex-wife that wasn't nasty.
i wish i could call him at the hospital but his soon to be ex-wife probably put the kaibash on anyone but her talking to him.
