Who pulls a head to do the timing chain? :) I pulled only the upper and the side cover when I did mine.

lol, well I would replace the gaskets seeing as its only a few more bolts, especially with a high mileage engine. You knew what you had put your mill through before you replaced the chain IIRC. Cody has no idea how the engine was treated lol.

lol i know about half my rockers? under the front valve cover are lose as HELL like i can stick 2 quarters between them? well half of them other half are fine..

anywho ive now got a buddy who says he will help.. how ever heres the problem... we run our work with 3 ppl latly usualy 8 or 9 but they picked a baddd location to build so its really slow... so when i have day off other 2 cant and i work with him lol... hes got a shop and a welder so takes care of that sorta...


engine-- so did i list basicly everything thats gotta be done? just mount swap sensors injectors and fuel rail? what about exhaust use the 3.4 exhaust or the 3.1?

transmission-- i vagly remember the neutral wire needed something done to it? i can look that up acualy.. fill in the blanks pls lol

I don't think there is a writeup for that mount. But its very simple. Cut it out of a car, and weld it in right where you got it from off the donor car. Its the same mount on every 92+ Beretta, regardless of engine size. The only part that changes is the actual MOUNT part, not the bracket on the frame.

my aunt just wrecked her 99 grand am.. i know 99 is a bad year? well its got overheating problems probly the lim gasket? but she wants 500 for the entire car with 120000 on it other then overheating it ran good and drove good... 3.4l

worth it?

500 bucks for a donor car? great! and then when you find a good deal on a large port 3400, youll be able to throw it right in.

Its probably just a bad water pump, or clogged/restricted radiator or hose. I wouldnt even reseal it if it doesnt leak. Put the thing in and drive it!

So Gearing up for the 3400/Manual swap i figured my toolbox was a little lacking... No way i was going to get even a trany out with the tools i had as of this morning so i went out and splurged on this set all 301 pices
