Is there any chance of the Indy Speedway letting us run our cars around the oval? The Hot Rod Power tour is stopping there a few weeks before berettafest and rumor has it they will be allowing cars to make laps around the track for a $20 donation.

When I talked to them it sounded less likely for us to be able to do that. The Power Tour has a lot more people to share that cost with as opposed to us. Our cost per car would be much higher last I checked. I do need to get some numbers to our contact soon, so I will get a final say on this at that time...

Yeah, I don't have to drive on the track, but to get a group photo at the finish line would be pretty sweet to me.

Back when I was a mucky-muck with the Mopar Nationals we were able to arrange a "guided/escorted" drive around the track at a top speed of 50 MPH.
I actually have a pic of my '69 Swinger on the Pole Position.
Not sure if they still do that, but I'd be surprised if they don't.

				So make it happen Asylum!
I would be VERY excited to simply get a pic on the start / finish line!! The original bricks... too cool!
