Dealing with the occasional garbage post or thread is nowhere near as bad as having to actively monitor a live chat, and the technical side of it is a whole other ball of wax.

I think ours might be a little less cluttered just with less people coming in and out, would be interested to who lands in it we might find some new members!

The chatbox on the Q4F works smooth and needs NO babysitting and is very useful to share info with real-time chat!

on another site that im on, the owners didnt want to moderate an official board chat box, but the regulars have created our own IRC chatroom. we just made a thread about it, directions on how to get into it and then bump it whenever someone enters. it works fine and usually has about 10-15 members in it on a nightly basis. if thats something that people here are interested in and will is fine with that, then bump this up and ill put it into action.

If someone wants to undertake an irc channel on freenode or something I have no problem with that.
People need to realize that this server is not dedicated to beretta.net, I have several client sites on it as well as a development system and some other projects running.
