SuzukiGhostRider wrote:So, we're all wrong and you know it all? STFU, and go back to where ever it is you've been with everyone's money you stole from them.

And, I got everything I said CORRECT. Google all you want. I know what I'm talking about.
Who needs Google when you have a 1995 Supercharged Riviera sitting in the driveway? I've also owned a Bonneville and swapped a supercharged 3800 into an 88 Grand Am... So yeah, I must not know anything about 3800's........

You got everything correct you say? lol Let's see...

You said:
Direct swap <-- Incorrect!
Same block <-- Incorrect!
Same heads <-- Incorrect!
Same mounting locations <-- Correct!

1 out of 4 is a 25% rate of being correct! Being right 25% of the time means you DO NOT know what you're talking about, sorry champ!

FYI, I owe 1 person a refund because he no longer wants the parts (which I am now stuck with) and will be at a loss with until I resell them! There is a thread about this and it's of NO concern to you, so shut it please!

Try staying on topic and try do a better job of posting correct info! K, thanks!

I stand by what I said.

And your feedback thread IS a concern to me and everyone else. Your rep is less than stellar , as is your track record. As someone who was looking at spending hundreds of dollars with you, yes, it's my business.

But , agreed, let's stay on topic here.

I'm sorry I got sick and had treatment and surgery, it won't happen again! I'm trying to repair my rep by offering to send parts before payment and also offered to have the buyer send the payment directly to Uncle as well... If you are interested in doing that in order to get some parts from me, that would be superb! IMO, that is better than badmouthing me more and it will make everyone happy! Also, I should be finally returning back to the workforce as soon as next week with a new job that I'm very excited about, and I have a clear bill of health once again and am actually looking forward to turning 30 this year now! Sorry for going off-topic again, PM me if you need anything or if you want a list of what I have! (assuming you would like to help?) Thanks! :D

One more thing SGR, I talked to Ray and he agrees with you about the 3800's!!! :Yahoo!: Image

Hehe, just kidding dude!

I figured GM would have kept consistent with the OBDI.5 setups and not thrown in a OBDII diagnostic port on them. Makes no sense if an OBDII reader wont read it.

Maybe it's the same style connector that's on the 94-95 L-bodies? As in OBDII size but actually OBD1.5?

Geoff thats my point... 94-95 L-body is an OBDI connector... It's not any different than the older cars there just isn't the right wires going to it to do a pin jump since its not supported. Only two wires go to it... maybe three... One for data and one for 12v, and if there are 3 one is ground. For an L-body the ECU is unique, not the connector shape... I use an OBDI code reader to connect to it... Did it on my old 95 and I've done it for Lisa in the past to pull/clear her EGR codes.

Aparently GM didn't use that same connector on the Buick but instead used an OBDII connector... or at least thats what we are being told.

^ I'll snap a pic tomorrow if I remember to. Since when has GM been known to do things that make sense? lol

Sorry this took so long, but they had the car 2.5 hours away at the brand new house up North, so I didn't have access to take pics of it till yesterday when I had it dropped off at my shop to install new rear air shocks.

The engine doesnt care what electronics runs it. qouting a unknown source. I'd go out on a limb and say its wouldnt be any harder then a 3500 swap. Come on for real its the same engine family. Get your heads out of your ar$$. Swap the manifolds if need be and quit complaining
