I remember this. Seeing it now makes me want a Z04 kit in the worst way. looks like ill have scrounge the yards for one or check CAPA prices through my work. that looks sweet i would probably pull off the same type of filler tinted to match my tails. thanks for reminding me of this. i would probably also make the z rear bumper license plate area my exhaust exit. lol.

OK, well last monday I sanded down and clear coated my Hlights. Ground off the little nubs and everything to make them nice and smooth. The build up was so bad i had to use 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000 wet, and 1500 wet Trizact. Then I blew ppg's DC3000 high velocity clear with some DCH3070 hardener/catalyst. they look 100x better. and are much better at night now. Damn, it's almost time to put the winter tires on.

to hell with winter.

Ok. First unhook the battery. Then there is 4 T25 (I think) torx screws in the back of the steering wheel holding in the airbag. Pull air bag off of wheel and disconnect yellow plug connector. Then there should be a big 18mm or nut in the center of the wheel and a thin circle clip with two holes in it. Take the nut off then the clip. Now your goin to have to borrow or buy a GM steering wheel removal tool. Wherever you get the tool will explain how to use it. Then use the tool to take off the wheel and set on the new one. NOW, with the Z24 wheel you'll have to take a razor blade and trim about a half of an inch off the rubber on the back where the steering wheel meets the column. You will also have to disconnect your airbag module or your INFLATABLE RESTRAINT light will be forever on. This whole process will only take about a half an hour. Good luck man!

Update: New Years Resolution for the corsi.
finish the new exhaust and install.
tint windows.
fix underneath rust and rocker rust.
finish interior.
e36 projectors for the HID's.
5 spd swap.
redo suspension.
maybe do something simple with the stereo. like new speakers. no system.
repaint someday over the flippin rainbow! lol.
finish wheels.
That's about all I can think of for now. I have high hopes. I don't know what all I'll actually finish by the end of 2012 but like I said hopes are high.

You are very right Jon. But, it is cheaper when you have access to all the necessary tools and materials to perform these repairs. Autobody shop perks of the job. lol. So for these things that I can get to do easily its not so much money as it is time constraint for me. Just wish I had more time. LOL, don't we all...?

Winterforce's are on. Cannot wait for the warm weather. In the process of finding a truck for myself. I find myself needing one more and more lately. I'm hoping to find one soon so then I could take the Corsi off the road for a while and really get some crap done.
