Without a recording of the sound we can only guess and my guess would be piston slap, but your making it sound like its a lot louder than what piston slap would sound like so I'm not positive then.

I have a similar sound. Though I know my issue is my Catalytic Converter. I don't know if it is for you.

here is the video...i tried my best to record the sound as close as where i hearing it..i went back in forth towards the belt tensioner just to show you what it was doing (i know it needs to be fixed)

That has no rhythm to the engine running and sounds like when and if you do change your transmission fluid your going to find some unwanted parts in the bottom of the pan.
