Yeah I don't remember what they were called. I thought it was FE5 and FE7(heavy duty and performance). I didn't ask for FE3 part numbers. The guy at the dealer was an 89GT owner at one time and is always happy to look up part numbers.

FE1 - SUSPENSION SYSTEM,SOFT RIDE - likely base model?
FE2 - SUSPENSION SYSTEM,RIDE AND HANDLING -GT model?
FE3 - SUSPENSION SYSTEM,SPORT -V6 GTZ?
FE7 - SUSPENSION SYSTEM,FRONT AND REAR,HEAVY DUTY(PERFORMANCE TUNED)(USED WITH INDY/GTU? "GT" PKG B5I, AND GTZ Z04)

Eh, that's basically right that the RPO follows model , but there are variances with all of them as well.
Such as:
Z26's could have FE2 or FE3
GT's could have both as well
Some years had standard with no option per line model, some didn't, but yeah, you get the idea for the most part.

Glad to hear that you got the job. I'm the one that started this mess in your topic and I'm sorry.

My Z has the FE3, I remember seeing that on the equipment list, or rather the "sport" suspension package name itself. I would suspect the base probably has the FE1 or 2.
I know its much softer and has more roll in the corners.

Glad to hear your car is coming along. I know how it is to be working on them, did some work on my Z today, had to wake it up, change oil and do some mod work. It goes back on the road this week, so I can take the time to do a few things to the base.

i already changed the oil a week ago. while i was at work yesterday jking18 and his dad went out and worked on my brakes bleeding them and they are getting better now have to do the fronts then they will be good. im getting insurance today i hope then getting my tags and plates on wednesday after i get out of work. so next time i work i'll have my car. still need to figure out my leaking problem. have to take the wet vac to it everytime we have a storm or a little rain. but it only gets on the floor and never my seats. need to find out where its leaking at.

That is a normal Beretta leak. The home page has a guide to finding leaks. I have the same leak and I'm still fighting to get rid of it.

Start with the fresh air vent seal under the cowl, if its passenger side, if its drivers side then move on to the seam under the cowl since that connects to the brake booster mount on the firewall, also check that seam that runs down the firewall on the drivers side.
Fresh Air vent seal
Seam under cowl shared with brake booster reinforcement
Brake Booster to firewall seams

Ok for the break booster fire wall where would it be leaking at through there? i know that it may be there because when i took the black peice off thats right below the windshield and overlaps it a bit. i know then i took that off to clean it up it had a bunch of dirt under it. and i also think it may be leaking through the top weather stripping on the driver door. it is only the driver side that leaks. But my brakes are working now. so all thats left is getting her road legal. cant wait to drive her farther than a mile down the road.

Everywhere you see smeared sealer in my pics, looks like it was painted on with a brush, those are the seams where the booster reinforcement part mounts to the firewall, and at the top you can see the part that holds the wiper motor meets right where the booster reinforcement meets as well and if water leaks from the other side of that cowl part, under that black panel you removed, it can go right in between the booster reinforcement and the firewall and get to the floor that way. If you feel its coming from the door seal I'd start there, thats way cheaper and easier to test.
